Concept-3™
The C3 Series machines are intended for inspection of packaged
products. These systems use a vertical view of the product.
Concept-3 is optimized for the low intensity "soft-X-ray" energy range. When
coupled with it's unique high dynamic range detection system, unparalleled
image discrimination is achieved. Construction is 100% lead free therefore
eliminating any hazardous material consideration.

metal can, and other stand-up packages. These systems use a side view of the product.
The C5 X-Ray System is specifically designed for the rapid automatic inspection of
Jar, bottle, and other tall product. The unique geometry enables unparalleled detection
capability. This inspection performance is unmatched even with much more expensive
multi-view systems.

Hyper-Switch Bene™
Hyper-Switch™ dramatically improves the state-of-the-art of x-ray inspection machines by utilizing neural
network technology. This technology automatically learns what normal product should look like under the light of x-ray energy and
detect undesired contamination such as stainless steel, glass, and stone. It also simultaneously inspects each product for under fill
or weight. Bene™ uses neural network technology to quickly determine what to expect.
Contaminant and weighing capabilities no longer require trained personal to setup and adjust. Bene™ simply learns what is
normal by observation of "known good" examples. Placing the burden of setup and adjustment completely under the control of
software enables unparalleled computing power to bear on the inspection task.

Remote Portal™
Remote Portal™ is an add-on module that resides between the C3 X-ray inspection
machine and your internet enabled factory LAN to give a web browser view of the
inspection throughput statistics, archive images, as well as remote service
and upgrade capability.
Novus X-Ray's C3 machines inherently support real-time traceability of you
product inspection results. The Remote Portal™ module enhances this capability
by constantly synchronizing with the C3 machine, recording the results and
associated images to a non-volatile storage device. It parses all throughput
statistics to create an easy to use and understandable database using the
all-familiar hypertext web interface.
Remote Portal™ also provides a very effective way for Novus X-Ray support
engineers to help you with your quality problems, remotely and in real-time. A
support engineer can retrieve your image archive and/or live images, make the
appropriate changes, and upload the changes even while your machine is still
inspecting product. This capability is commonly call Hot Patching ... no need
to stop the production process to enhance, retune, or repair the inspection
processor resulting in zero down time!
